Our history
The MtC group is the result of the combination of the experiences of two companies specializing in electrical cabling activities and business services for more than thirty years.
MtC is present on the historic sites of CEPA in Brittany and OTN in Burgundy but also in Morocco and Romania.
Each establishment having its own characteristics and skills, MtC intervenes throughout the value chain in order to provide its clients with new services and solutions which can range from complete project management to turnkey delivery (from electrical engineering, prototyping/series lead, small and medium series production up to installation and commissioning).
MtC’s vocation is to support the development of its clients in increasingly fast-paced environments where adaptability and ingenuity are part of everyday life.
Working on behalf of major clients in industry, aeronautics, rail, defense and medicine, the group is undergoing rapid change and is seeking to expand its team.
Missions
As part of a new organization and a replacement, we are looking for a Cabling Team Manager for the Questembert site.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the position is divided between two main activities:
- Management of the wiring harness, harness and small electrical boxes team
- Plan staff activity based on the order book
- Lead and coordinate the work of the team
- Analyze technical difficulties, propose solutions and deploy them
- Control the progress of the production stages and the pace of work
- Participate in the analysis of production data (costs, deadlines, quality and quantity) with the aim of continuous improvement
- Industrialization of wiring activities for harnesses, harnesses and small electrical boxes
- Define the manufacturing processes (manual/automatic crimping, soldering, wrapping, shrink wrapping, ultrasonic splicing, soldering, etc.) according to the products and contractual requirements of customers
- Validate feasibility studies, validation and qualification plans
- Produce prototypes and pre-series and write manufacturing reports for the methods department which carries out the operating procedures
- Bring your technical expertise within your team and the production site
Required profile
The candidate must have very strong industry experience in the field of industrial electrical wiring.
Knowledge of the IPC-A-620 standard is required
Knowledge of an ERP and/or CAD software such as Autocad would be appreciated.
Culturally, the candidate must be able to evolve in an SME type environment.
The candidate must be known for their dynamism, rigor and ability to work in a team
Fixed salary (to be defined according to profile) + restaurant voucher + participation
